Join us for the UA local learning community that accompanies the upcoming 6-week NSF-funded Inclusive STEM Teaching Project course (March 6 - April 28th, 2023). This program will help you to cultivate inclusive classroom environments; engage in reflection and discussion around topics of equity and inclusion across a variety of institutional contexts; and implement inclusive teaching methods in your classes. While STEM-focused, the program is open and valuable for anyone with an interest in inclusive teaching. We particularly encourage graduate students to participate.

While anyone is welcome to independently take the course, we invite you to register for our local UArizona learning community with trained facilitators. You may even opt to take the course and attend the learning community as part of a 1-credit independent study. For more information about this exciting initiative and your engagement options, please visit our local Inclusive STEM Teaching Project webpage.

Facilitated by Kristin Winet, Mascha Gemein, and Erin Galyen.

This program is sponsored by UArizona's Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL), a national professional development in teaching network for STEM graduate students and postdocs, and the University Center for Teaching, Assessment, and Technology (UCATT).

Target Audience: graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff
