The mission of the Digital Makerspaces is to promote digital literacy and provide resources across campus for UA students, faculty, and staff to facilitate the creation of multimedia projects in academia.

Resources at this location are available to all current UArizona students, faculty, and staff.

Resources Offered:

  • Equipment check out
  • Podcasting station
  • Mac workstations
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Software support
  • Video recording space

  • Fill out the equipment checkout form to request equipment, sign agreements, and schedule a pick-up time.

Norton School: Lundgren Consumer Sciences Lab

Our newest UCATT Digital Makerspace, located in the McClelland Park building, will open in the Fall of 2024. Housed within The Lundgren Consumer Sciences Lab, the space functions as a multidisciplinary consumer lab, offering a Makerspace for creating Influencers content, podcasts, vlogcasts, a photogrammetry station for product photography/digital twinning (including 3D capabilities), space for “pop-up” commerce and coming soon a fully functioning digital twin environment for VR experiences. All students, faculty and staff are welcome by appointment.

School of Journalism 

The podcasting studio, select audio check-out equipment, and the Mac workstations are available to all current UArizona students, faculty, and staff. DSLR camera kits and Broadcast kits are available to Journalism students, faculty, and staff only.
