This month, the XR Collaborative is kicking off the semester with fresh momentum— reconnecting our community, sharing updates to our newly refreshed website, and launching this spring’s instructional initiatives, including the Immersive Learning Institute and a slate of upcoming XR-focused workshops.

Join us!

Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality technologies, and is rapidly transforming education.

The University Center for Assessment, Technology, and Teaching (UCATT), CATalyst Studios (Main Library), and the Office of Distance and Continuing Education (OCDE) created an XR Collaborative to bring people together who are either working in or have an interest in XR to start building a community.

Whether you are an XR expert or someone who is curious but has never put on a headset, you’re invited to attend monthly XR Collaborative gatherings to learn more about activities on campus, find funding opportunities, and connect with people who can help with your XR project.
