Emily Torrez
Senior Instructional Designer
Emily Torrez is an Instructional Designer at the University Center of Assessment, Teaching & Technology. In this role, she consults with instructors to design student-centered and learning outcome-driven online courses.
Before joining the University of Arizona, Emily worked in human resources, organizational development, and workforce learning and development in the healthcare and wholesale distribution industries. Her diverse experience in the private sector has been instrumental in shaping her approach to instructional design: implement evidence-based best practices to engage and challenge students.
