Design. Teach. Engage.
UCATT is a campus resource that helps instructors think creatively about teaching and learning, and turn their visions into realities by working collaboratively to create engaging and innovative learning environments. Our organization is the result of the creative merger of the University offices of Digital Learning and Instruction & Assessment. We came together in July 2022 around the mission to elevate and extend support for teaching and learning at UArizona.
We advise on inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices, course design and multimedia services, and instructional technology integration and support for impactful learning across campus. We are dedicated to the development of inclusive and engaging learning environments that build instructors’ skills and foster student success.
Our five teams offer a variety of programs, services, and scholarships to support the teaching community at UArizona.
UCATT Teams:

A message from our Vice Provost Lisa Elfring and Associate Vice Provost Melody Buckner
We want to personally welcome you to the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT) website. We hope you will explore these web pages to learn about the services we offer instructors, students, and staff at the University of Arizona.
Innovation in teaching is a journey. Our support of that journey requires connection and commitment to positive relationships with all who travel along the road to create better experiences for our students. Our institution’s success is measured largely by the ability of our instructors to inspire students through quality learning experiences and courses, across modalities. Our talented team is here to support instructors who are searching for ways to grow as teachers and learners and to share their learning with other scholars.
Enjoy your time exploring our website. Please contact us with questions, comments, and innovations you would like to share. We look forward to learning from, and with, you.
