Michael Jones

As a Multimedia Specialist at the University of Arizona, Michael seeks to help instructors inspire learning through audio/visual storytelling, graphics, and media arts. He takes ideas from conversation to completion with pre-production, production, and post-production. He has an M.A. in Leadership, a B.A. in Film and Media Arts, and an A.A.S., as a Multimedia Specialist. 

Michael’s other passions include gospel-inspired music, traveling, and songwriting. He plays piano, guitar, bass, and sings. Under the artist name Malan (pronounced Muh-lawn) Jones he has composed two albums and has toured all fifty states making a documentary called Become (2016). He also loves hiking and nature, and gets inspired by traveling, and seeing the beauty in nature.
