Matt Romanoski

Director, Instructional Design

Matt Romanoski is the Director of Instructional Design. He earned his Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University, his Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University, and his Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Arizona in History. His research focuses on instructor presence and student engagement in online learning environments. He is also interested in research around building out instructional design teams and humanizing online learning.

Prior to his current role, Matt served as an Instructional Designer at UArizona’s College of Nursing and as an Outreach Program Coordinator at UArizona’s College of Education. He also worked at Marana High School as a social studies teacher, head coach for boys’ track, and assistant football coach.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Mason, Madelyn, and Charlotte. They especially like traveling, watching sports, and camping. Matt is a third-generation Wildcat and is often spotted at UA athletic events. Bear Down!
