Lorraine Wright

Instructional Designer

Lori Wright is an Instructional Designer for the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT). She is passionate about providing inclusive learning using engaging and research-based instructional strategies structured within a Design Thinking framework. Before joining the University of Arizona, she dedicated 20-plus years initially in K-12 general education and later specializing in speech, language, and communication disorders. She earned an undergraduate degree in Resource Development from the University of Rhode Island, postbaccalaureate certificates in education and speech and language from Chapman and Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University. Lori enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping in her free time. Having traveled from Maine to Florida as a child, across the country, and throughout the southwest as an adult, Lori looks forward to international travel soon.
