Coordinator, Operations and Communications

Gabe spearheads communication initiatives, liaising with academic departments and units across the campus. He is in charge of producing monthly newsletters for the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT), working in collaboration with campus-wide partners. He collaborates with designers and experts to develop and compile newsletter content, while also managing and updating communication lists for his unit and specific teams.

Furthermore, Gabe oversees the registration processes for various professional development activities, including workshops, events, courses, and calendar listings on the website, streamlining the registration and promotional efforts. He aids in crafting materials designed to enhance communication among internal teams, employing a variety of channels such as messaging systems, newsletters, emails, and other collaborative platforms.

In his role as the Integrated Learning Center building manager, Gabe coordinates the renovation and safety enhancement of the unit's offices and classrooms. In the operational domain, he deals with Human Resources tasks and acts as a time coordinator/approver when required, ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Gabe extends his responsibilities to promoting UCATT's services within the campus community and collaborates with the Office of the Registrar to schedule Instruction and Assessment courses, managing their registration processes as well.
