This Quality Matters (QM) workshop introduces the foundational principles of the QM Rubric and its use in reviewing the design of online and hybrid courses. This asynchronous, two-week experience is especially valuable for those new to QM or exploring quality assurance processes for best practices in digital learning.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the QM quality assurance process, the concept of alignment, and how to apply the Rubric to a sample course. You'll also learn how to draft constructive, actionable recommendations to support continuous course improvement and student success. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible to participate as a peer reviewer for Quality Matters Internal Reviews (QMIRs) within our institution.
