When
Throughout summer 2023, more than 70 faculty, staff, and students examined different aspects of AI at the University of Arizona as part of the inaugural AI Access and Integrity Working Group. They tackled AI related to data acumen, training needs, integrity in education, ethical considerations, syllabus guidance, access and equity, industry, and workforce, and more.
Now, the working group members want to share their findings, ideas, and next steps with you and hear your feedback.
The group was assembled late last spring after AI tools like ChatGPT swept across college and university campuses, raising questions among faculty, staff, students, and administrators alike about potential AI benefits, opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications in academia.
This panel discussion is the first in the fall AI at Arizona event series, aimed at sparking discussion and sharing ideas around AI at the University to broaden understanding, responsible use, and access to these technologies. We invite you to join the conversation!
The series is sponsored by the Office of the Provost; Research, Innovation and Impact; and the Institute for Computation and Data-Enabled Insight.
